St. John Evangelist Parish (Kohler)

Father Bob Lotz became temporary administrator at Blessed Trinity Parish February 1, 2007 and was appointed pastor of Blessed Trinity and Saint John Evangelist parishes June 19, 2007. He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee in 1973 and spent many years in special assignments in Young Adult Ministry and Campus Ministry throughout the archdiocese.

Lynn Walvoort - Business Manager (920) 467-4616, Ext. 302

Lynn has been Business Manager at Blessed Trinity since March 2003. Her office is located upstairs in the Rectory. Some of her duties include Safeguarding Coordinator, Human Resources and Payroll, Membership Records, Archdiocese Surveys and reporting, Maintenance coordinating, and all financial aspects of the Parish and School, including budget, monthly financials, accounts payable, reports for committees, memorials and donations. She also does many other duties she is asked to do.

Lynn worked previously as a typesetter in her Family’s business in Greenville, SC, a nursing assistant at Morningside Nursing home in Sheboygan, a housekeeper for Merry Maids in Escondido, CA, then started as a file clerk for an Ink Manufacturer in Escondido, CA and worked her way up the company by moving to Accounts Payable clerk, then Accounts receivable clerk and then doing all of the office work including payroll. She also learned to work with export paper work at this company. After Lynn moved to Wisconsin she worked as a teller and then Head Teller at Kohler Credit Union until she started her favorite job as a housewife and mother. She worked at this job for almost 14 years before she became a
substitute secretary at her church 1^st CRC in Oostburg.

Lynn’s husband, Ron, works at Pine Haven Christian Communities as the Chief Financial Officer. She has 4 children, Garrett – who is a junior at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI; Adrianna – who is a freshman at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL; Richard – who is a junior at Sheboygan County Christian High School and Timothy - who is a freshman at Sheboygan County Christian High School. Christian Education is very important to Lynn and her family.

In her spare time, Lynn volunteers at her church as the Children’s Worship Coordinator, Bookkeeper for the Youth Group and Music funds, Volunteers at Sheboygan County Christian School as the “data entry” person for anything that is needed, spends time with her family up north at the family cabin near Crivitz, helps take care of her mother-in-law who has dementia, reads and loves to try new recipes.  So if you have a recipe that you enjoy she would love to hear from you!!

Sandy has been the Parish Secretary a Blessed Trinity since September 2003. Some of the duties her position includes are: receptionist, word processing, bulletin preparation & distribution, update parish membership lists, maintain parish calendar and schedule facilities, schedule mass intentions, baptism/wedding/funeral coordination & scheduling, update parish website, schedule lay ministries, coordinate & supervise volunteers who work in the office and during mailings, and many other administrative duties on a daily basis.

Sandy previously worked as an administrative assistant for two local engineering firms. She believes it was God’s plan to find her a position serving him and his people. Sandy finds her position at Blessed Trinity very rewarding and enjoys working with the parishioners.
